The Prayer Chain

Our prayer chain was established many years ago to give support to our fellowship. Many of our church members make up this prayer chain. The theme scripture is: "Don't be weary in prayer; keep at it; watch for God's answers and remember to be thankful when they come."  (Colossians 4:2 TLB). The links are cautioned to guard this privilege closely and with strict confidence. The chain is activated by calling the captain who sets the chain in motion.

Neighborhood Prayer Walk

The last Saturday of each month at 10:00 AM, we split up into at least 2 teams to cover approximately 4 square block area around our church. As we walk, we pray as the Holy Spirit leads us. We pray for homes and people that we meet. On holidays we distribute 'door hangers' with the aim of attracting all in our diverse cultural neighborhood to our fellowship. If, due to inclement weather, we cannot walk outside, we walk within our church building claiming each area for God's glory.

Prayer Vigils

Prayer vigils are held on occasion, usually when a particular need or event occurs.
